HOW TO CREATE A SELF CARE ROUTINE

HOW TO CREATE A SELF CARE ROUTINE

Everybody is different but one thing that we all have in common is that we all deserve to take care of ourselves; but what happens when you don’t know how?

Many people in the world aren’t taught how we should tend to ourselves and our needs. Often we’ll experience acne breakouts, hair loss, heck even an overall loss of confidence and we don’t know where to start when it comes to healing.

Allow me to make some suggestions.

I started Ethereal By Love Atiya (a self care and self love company) because I severely struggled with my self confidence, self esteem and self care.

Between stress, overworking and struggles with my mental health self care seemed hard and was a concept that was hard for me to conceive.

To this very day I have to remember that I am breaking my old habits of self neglect and push myself to take care of myself. We are all works in progress.

My goal for Ethereal by Love Atiya isn’t to help give you perfect skin or perfect hair because in reality, stuff happens. We break out, we age, we get stressed and we may even lose our hair.

In the end, my goal is to help you love yourself no matter what and my products just so happen to help heal you externally as well.

Now for the self care suggestions.

SELF CARE SUGGESTION NUMBER ONE:

A Rose Water and Ethereal Scalp Massage!

This can literally be done from the comfort of your bed.

All you have to do is set some mood lighting, put on your favorite show or favorite musical playlist and adorn your scalp and hair with our Ethereal Rose Water Love Mist.

Next, you can apply your Ethereal Hair Growth Oil to your hand or directly to your scalp and hair, whatever works best for you honestly.

Now here is the super fun part, THE MASSAGE.

Gentle massage your hair while thinking positive loving thoughts (if you’re watching tv you may want to pause it so that you’re not distracted.)

This self care routine can help you calm your nervous system while breathing in the delicious scents of our Rose Water and EHGO. Pauses are necessary and taking the time out to massage your scalp can not only stimulate your hair follicles but it can stimulate your self love.

SELF CARE SUGGESTION NUMBER TWO:

The Detoxifying Trio Routine!

STEP ONE:

Cleanse your face with our Ethereal Revitalizing Cleanser & Glow Enhancer for about 60 seconds (singing row row row your boat can help you keep track of your timing but I also recommend saying positive affirmations as you cleanse your skin)

Pro Tip: I recommend using our sustainable bamboo cleansing cloths for the best results.

STEP TWO:

Rise off your cleanser and pat your face dry with a paper towel or a CLEAN soft wash cloth. Please be GENTLE.

STEP THREE:

Grab your rubber bowl and Ethereal spoon, your Rhassoul Clay & Turmeric Mask and your Rose Water OR Apple Cider Vinegar. Mix up that baby and once it’s made a loose paste, apply the mask to your skin and jam to one of your favorite musical playlists.

STEP FOUR:

After your mask is completely baked and dry (you can tell when it’s dry because when you touch it, it won’t stick to your fingers) you can wash off your mask very gently by wetting your face with water and allowing the mask to wash off naturally. Once the mask is completely off you can pat your face dry with a paper towel or a CLEAN soft wash cloth. Please be GENTLE.

STEP FIVE

Apply your Ethereal Rose Water Love Mist and be sure to hit your cheeks, forehead & chin!

Pro Tip: for best results I recommend wiping your skin with a gentle cotton pad with rose water.

STEP THREE:

Apply our Ethereal Illuminating and Healing Serum and once again be sure to say loving affirmations as you gently caress your skin with our serum.

STEP FOUR:

Blow yourself a kiss and say something nice to yourself.

Fun Fact: We have a TRIO that includes all 3 of the products listed above for your self care pleasure.

There are SOOOOOO many combinations you can use to create YOUR favorite self care routine. Stay tuned for more self care suggestions and don’t forget to sign up for our free self care tips via email.
